Character Sketches

For a long time I’ve wanted to work on a short film or comic outside of client projects, but I’ve put it off again and again. You know how it goes, you get busy, you find other things that are easier, more accessible, there are always skills to be worked on, things to learn. The list is endless. But at some point, you just have to start.

So, in the spirit of starting, I wanted to share some of my work in progress as I hash out the visual language of a story I’ve written. I’ve been doing a lot of sketches and exploring different styles, and I thought it would be fun to capture a timelapse of one of those sessions, so here it is.
